Arrival in South Tyrol with Google Maps: how to reach La Casies

Via the A22 Brennero motorway to the Bressanone-Val Pusteria exit, then about 43 km via the SS49 Pusteria state road to Monguelfo. At the roundabout, take the first exit towards the town centre and, after about 800 m, just before reaching Monguelfo’s centre, turn left towards Val Casies. For the next 15 km, follow first Klosterweg and then Gsieser Straße to Santa Maddalena. There, turn right immediately after the parish church. After 200 m you will have reached your destination.

From Venice via the A27 motorway and the SS51 Alemagna to Cortina d’Ampezzo and on to Dobbiaco. At the roundabout, take the third exit and follow the SS49 Pusteria state road for about 11 km to Monguelfo. Take the right-hand exit (Monguelfo East) and follow the road for around 2 km. At the small roundabout before the town centre, take the second exit, pass through the village centre, and turn right after the petrol station towards Val Casies. For the next 15 km, follow first Klosterweg and then Gsieser Straße to Santa Maddalena. There, turn right immediately after the parish church. After 200 m you will have reached your destination.

From East Tyrol, travel to Lienz and continue along the B100 Drautalstraße to Winnebach, then follow the SS49 Pusteria state road for about 20 km to Monguelfo. Take the right-hand exit (Monguelfo East) and follow the road for around 2 km. At the small roundabout before the town centre, take the second exit, pass through the village centre, and turn right after the petrol station towards Val Casies. For the next 15 km, follow first Klosterweg and then Gsieser Straße to Santa Maddalena. There, turn right immediately after the parish church. After 200 m you will have reached your destination.
